Below is the full text of IBB’s Speech. Yes,it also a compendium, of all the shakers and movers of Nigeria. You can easily see that IBB endorsed the Muslim- Muslim ticket of Jagaban Niger! It was him who secretly enrolled Nigeria into the OIC.

OIC stands for Organization of Islamic States. Organization of Isamic Cooperation is an international organization that aims to promote solidarity and cooperation among Muslim-majority countries across the globe; however, it’s important to note that not all Muslim communities or individuals directly identify with or are represented by the OIC. They claim not to be a religious authority While it represents Muslim communities on a global scale, it doesn’t function as a religious authority dictating Islamic practices to individuals. The OIC primarily represents countries where the majority of the population is Muslim. The question remains whether Islamic population in Nigeria is in the majority? I think it’s not. If national census is conducted without the curroption and manipulations inputed into the results by Fulanis and Nothern Leaders,Christianity is the majority religion in Nigeria. Let’s dive into the write up by this angry Nigerian.:

“Babangida and The Abuja Gathering of Shame

By an angry Nigerian

It can only happen in Nigeria. And this is because the country is a theatre of the absurd, a comedy of errors.

If Nigeria is not a personification of errors and corruption, I don’t see any shred of reason the political class, the academia, intelligentsia business moguls and captains of industry would empty into Abuja to celebrate former Military dictator, General Ibrahim Babamosi Babangida in the form of a book launch where a whopping N17b was realised in one fell swoop. It is obvious that those who rained millions and billions of Naira on Babangida at the book launch were his cronies who he had empowered with oil blocs.

This included a former female fashion designer- turned multi- billionaire. The said fashion designer who hailed from the Southwest was Babangida’s wife, the late First Lady, Mariam Babangida’s personal fashion designer . You can now deduce for yourself why and how she suddenly became an overnight billionaire and business mogul.
Among the cronies is also Chief Arthur Eze, the Anambra state- born multi- billionaire who has acquired notoriety as AGIP- Any government In Power.

Chief Eze claimed that Babangida made him but let him show us anybody he has “made” in Alaigbo after Babangida had made him.
Can Chief Eze beat his chest and proclaim that as stupendously rich man, a multi-billionaire, he has turned his home town, Ukpor in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra state to an Eldorado of sorts with 24 hours electricity/ internet supply, good roads, well equipped schools and hospitals?

In saner climes, Babangida should be doing life in a prison for disfiguring Nigeria!
Lest we forget, Babangida was Nigeria’s military dictator from August 27 1985 to August 26, 1993. During his 8- year reign of terror, Babangida bastardised the economy and weakened the Naira via the unpopular, stragulating Social Adjustment Programme, SAP- Babangida met Naira at N0.89 to a dollar when he shot his way to power and left it at N22.05 to a dollar- maintained one of the worst human rights records of any leader in the African continent, instituted endless transition to civil rule programmes and the ultimate, annulled a globally acclaimed freest and fairest presidential election in Nigeria’s history, the June 12, 1993 presidential election presumably won by his bosom friend, the late Chief MKO Abiola.

Thirty-two years after the annulment, Babangida woke up one one morning and decided it was time to tell tales. And in doing that, he shifted the blame for the annulment to his bosom colleagues and another brutal dictator, the late General Sani Abacha; and wait for this, the late Professor Humphrey Nwosu, the then Chairman of the electoral umpire who defied physical threats and harm from Babangida’s colony of Junta members to announce almost half of the presidential results before the annulment came.

In blaming Abacha and Professor Nwosu for the annulment, all I see is a vegetative General wearing cowardice as a garb! Why Babangida waited before Abacha and Professor Nwosu left the world before cooking and serving Nigerians a cocktail of lies remains unclear but as I said before, I can smell cowardice from afar!

If not for the annulment of the June 12 presidential election, our political process would have been stronger. We will not be having strange tales from Yakubu Mahmood, the INEC Chairman, after spending billions of Naira supposedly to modernise our electoral system.

It is an open secret that the japa syndrome started as a result of Babangida’s devaluation of Naira and introduction of the obnoxious SAP.
He surrendered our economy to World bank and IMF.
This year alone, Nigeria will be spending 14 trillion Naira on debt serving.

The Chu Okongwu report indicted Babangida for wasting our $12.4 billion dollars Gulf war windfall yet, this was the same man the political class- the oppressed and oppressors- gathered in Abuja to celebrate, it was indeed a celebration of octane shame!

However, one take away from the Babangida book lunch and the array of dignitaries that attended it is that the political class have short memories or often wilfully assumed short memories to protect their interests, other wise, why would a president Tinubu be found in a gathering where Babangida is celebrated?

As former Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo rightly pointed out, 32 years ago, as a serving Senator and self acclaimed pro democracy activist who later allegedly fled into exile, Tinubu was at Babangida’s mercy; Babangida was Tinubu’s tormentor but there he was seated and giggling away as he celebrated his former tormentor!

The obscene celebration of Babangida by those who had vilified him was a naked dance on the graves of the real heroes of June 12-those who died fighting for the restoration of Abiola’s mandate or those who participated in the struggle but died without the mandate restored- the Air Commodore Dan Suleimans of this world, the Alfred Rewanes, the Ralph Obiohas, the Rear-Admiral Ndubuisi Kanus, the papa Emmanuel Alanyandes, the Abraham Adesanyas, the Kudirat Abiolas etc, and also the many hundreds of Southeasterners and South Southerners who died in various road mishaps while fleeing Lagos fearful of their lives( Oso Abiola)and convinced that Nigeria was headed for Armageddon following the annulment.

As one social affairs commentator pointed out, instead of being celebrated by those he oppressed, Babangida should be paying reparations to them.
Said the the commentator, “imagine celebrating a man who caused the chaos that led to someone’s death, his wife’s death, the collapse of one of the biggest business Empires in Africa, the deaths of thousands, and the collapse of democracy, and now be rewarded with N17b and be feted by some of the people you tried to Kill and maim.

“He should give penance. He should go to Abiola’s grave and beg for forgiveness; he should donate all of that N17b to Nigerian orphans and widows and show genuine remorse. Maybe we would forgive him cos, for now, he is just a side stool in our history”
Again, the Abuja show was a dance of shame, a gathering of octane shame!
Ndo, ndi Nigeria!”
