A tribe of the Maghreb, from the Foutajallon, and formed the foundation for Kakistocrats solidified into full blown Kakistocracy under Late President Muhammadu Buhari. A man who till his death could not produce a WAEC RESULTS OR CERTIFICATE, but found over 24 Northern Lawyers as defense Attorneys during his court case. I learnt one thing that reshaped my understanding of the Northern- Religio- Political Arrangement. They sacrifice merit and rational decisions once any of theirs are involved in any form misgovernance! Thus, when the the Chief Tinubu’s Action Congress of Nigeria,ACN, formed an alliance with Buharis Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, kleptocracy was formalized in Aso Rock! It was forced down on the legislature and Judiciary, thus hijacking Nigeria. In every nation, from time immemorial, men have always distrusted government, labeled government and vilified government. Yet, year after year, seasons after seasons, generations after generations government thrives, waxing stronger and stronger, often , by weaponizing the best means to hold onto power, namely cheating, deception and lies.Since democracy,was defined as government of the people, by the people, for the people, philosophers had warned that men will use democracy to destroy democracy.In order words, as thoughtfully put by a Nigerian Afro-Music Maestro, late Fela Anikulakpo Kuti,… “men will turn democracy into demonstration of craze and turn the life of people into suffering and smiling”. The fears of the early philosophers have come to be,all over the world irrespective of color, race, and location.Who really cares whether the people suffer or smile, it does not appear worth its while, to try to save the people from the evil effects of man’s demonstration of craze in government. Where a people refuses to care about the choices they make, why care for them ? I would think that it is better to let them bear the brunt of the decisions they made in the choice of leadership. But that would be wrong because of the knowledge of what is good and bad. The knowledge of good and bad was a consequence of the fall of man from the original intentions of God the creator of man as declared by the Christian Holy Scriptures,the Bible, for lack of knowledge, the people perish. Religion created by man, has messed up man, so I will leave Scriptures for now, as this journey in government here transcends religion. Islam does not accept Judaism resulting in the never ending conflict in the Middle East. Hinduism won’t let Christians drink water and drop the cup. Christians, Hindus and Muslims won’t let Pegans and Aetheists rest. The Worst Two types of Government man and nations can have, has had, and is having are described as KAKISTOCRACY and KLEPTOCRACY. Kakistocracy has been explained to mean…Government by the least suitable or most incompetent citizens of a state.Often, Kleptocracy leads to kakistocracy and vise versa. Each can operate as both parent and forerunner of the other at different times in the life of any nation.Man cannot run away from these two evil governments which again, came as the result of man’s fall from God’s plan at creation.For as long as greed, selfishness, hunger for power to dominate others exist in man as a political animal, man will continue to create kakistocracy and kleptocracy each birthing the other depending on the seasons of a nation and both happen within democracy. This is because man will always turn democracy into demonstration of Craze, which carries the danger of reducing democracy to kakistocracy or kleptocracy in any nation.When a state or society governed by its least suitable or competent citizens, kakistocracy operates in that system.According to Google Kakistocracy has been variously used in the past to describe the Russian government under Boris Yeltsin and later Vladimir Putin. When you study Mr. Putins profile, you will agree that no matter what you do men will label you. Those who care to look at Russian Governments in the past would observe that Authocracy was mixed with Dictatorship to introduce Democracy. And that democracy later became the demonstration of craze, inevitably created kleptocracy, which in turb ushered in kakistocracy in Russia as assessed by many. As recent as 24 months ago, we read and watched the escape of many wealthy oligarchs from Russia. The internet is awash with stories about the wealth of Mr. Putin. These may be fables or falsehoods, I have no means of checking and I have no interest in such things,as they are beyond the scope of this piece. It is safe however to regard any war mongering leader as a kakistocrat. This is majorly because, all leaders kill for many reasons, but it is very dangerous in this age and time to brag about and indeed go to War against any nation. The heart of man is desperately wicked declares the Holy Scriptures and war best demonstrates that wickedness.The government of Egypt under Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, a few governments in sub-Saharan Africa, the government of the Philippines under Rodrigo Duterte, and several United States presidential administrations, have been described as kakistocratic. The question arises, are we living in an era and age of kakistocracy? To bring this home, Kakistocracies are governments ruled by the stupid and ignorant. This is gleaned from the manifest total lack of integrity, heightened impunity, and the exploitation of societal divides like ethnicity, racism, religion, and migration, by top members of government known as the case may be as kakistocrats or kleptocrats. In 2022, an America Journalist published an essay titled ” Kleptocracy In America” He argued that America has killed a lot of her own citizens through many means, including biological, medications, and downright wickedness,and also killed in many other nations of the world, while the real common man in America is suffering hardship, with the political class and leaders , neck deep in chopping the peoples money. Whether America has crossed from where they were a few years ago to kakistocracy is for watchers of political happenings across the two major political parties to judge for themselves Kleptocracy is when the society or system is ruled by people who use their power to steal their country’s resources.Most dictatorships encourage and are kleptocrats in all continents,and races. Unlike kakistocrats, kleptocrats are very sensitive to accusations and public exposure of their curroption and kleptomania. Such governments are managed and operated by people who use their power to steal their country’s resources. They pretend to fight curroption, deception and lying because these are the three bedrock of their form and nature. They abhor competition in their business of kleptocracy, hence curroption fights back.They have been called corruptocracy or kleptarchy. A kleptocrat is a government official who is a thief or an exploiter. Accorging to Google, examples of Kleptocracies are Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has been described as a kleptocracy for its use of oil-revenue to enrich an oligarch class, including that of the ruling Aliyev dynasty. Mobutu Sese Seko, during the Congo Crisis, led a coup against the nationalist government of Patrice Lumumba whom they killed. Mobutu took control of the government of Congo-Léopoldville,and became the army chief of staff. In 1965 he led a second coup to be Prime Minister. Mobutu’s rule earned a reputation as one of the world’s foremost examples of kleptocracy and nepotism. Nigeria under Gen Sanni Abacha, was known as a kleptocracy.The top members of that government stole the Government Treasury empty. Nigerias mixture of fundamental Islamic Religion, with secularity created problems which many believe led to her descending into a kakistocracy under Muhammad Buhari,and his political party the APC. It would seem to me that this great nation is now laboring under a government of Klepto-Kakistocracy, from the level of lies, deception and cheating ,so much so, that the Senators had to pass a Bill to ” Let The Poor Breathe “.Government and their members simply take and share money while fanning Islamic violence and terrorism in some states. Poverty has just been weaponized in that country. Researchers have observed that the common factor between kleptocrats and kakistocrats is in “Asininity” The dictionary defines asininity as the quality of being asinine, which is stupidity combined with stubbornness, in a type of folly, and foolishness,combined with unwiseness. They say that an asinine person, whether male or female is not far from being an idiot or stupid.

You can call such a person names that include fool, jerk, moron , nitwit, stupid twit, Blockhead , bonehead, cretin , dimwit, ,dork , dumbbell, dunce, ignoramus, imbecile , kook , muttonhead , nincompoop, ninny, pinhead , simpleton, and tomfool. This is serious, we should not call any person such names. Our words should edify the hearer.If we can realistically look at the players on the political terrain of countries where we live, hail from, or watch, from both aisles, of the political divide, we will be staring at asininity! If you do, you are looking at either a Kleptocracy or Kakistocracy or a masterly combination of the two. This will cause Me to Love my people the more, in the Country where I reside and in my Country of Origin, because either way, we all bear the brunt of and pay the price of Demonstration of Craze in the Democracy type of Government. This was in 2024 Nigeria has deteriorated since then. Its at the brink of a War! Nigeria does not want Igbos, they kill Igbos using IPOB as their wickedness.But won’t let Igbos go!
