The Bible Declares… ” For lack of knowledge my People Perish.” A Leader, whether political, traditional, cultural needs Four attributes, and the fourth makes all the difference to Leadership. These major attributes to lead well are: 1. Wisdom. It is with wisdom that a house is designed, location chosen, and the purpose decided. The House here includes, the Village, Community, the Local Government Area, the State, The Region and The Federation. When there is no Wisdom, people surrounding such leaders resort to attacking wise people, tribes and races of builders of their economy. They fight chasing and dispersing investors, businesses, because they lack wisdom! They blame others for their lack of wisdom, the worst of these political leaders build on sandy structures that shall collapse as soon as they leave office. Such leaders follow others, copy them, and create unnecessary competition that will fieasle out under a few years :

2. Knowledge ….. Leaders must find knowledge. It is with knowledge that Costs of projects are assessed, studies carried out to know the immediate, short and long-term implications and impacts of the projects, or decisions and policies. It is for lack of knowledge, that the space of Nigeria is littered with abandoned whited sepulchre failed Projects. Projects driven by corruption and greed of the leaders that built them. For lack of knowledge they rely on the opinions of the economic enemies and colonial oppressors and manipulators. The Ajaokuta Steel Rolling Mills, The NNPC waste pipe of resources project, The Styre Motor Project, The Peugeot Automobile Plant, The Federal Superphate Fertiliser Plant, The Urea Plant in Onne, just to name a few became victims of shatered hopes for Nigerians. In Imo State, my own State, for undescribable degree of lack of knowledge, the Avutu Poultry farm complex, Oguta Lake Resort Complex, Ada Palms, became shadows the our Visions of late Chief Sam Mbakwe.

Tribalism, Religion and Currroption, combine majorly, to keep the States, and Federal Projects comatose and going in that way:

3. Understanding ……. It is with Understanding that the house is furnished to befit the owner and builder’s desire and purposes. Without understanding, you operate an airline like Nigeria Airways. There was a Time we had Okada Airlines, ADC Air lines, Every rich person copied others without understanding and owned an Airline, and in less than 20 years, all vanished, and Nigerian Airways is yet to make any noticeable impact. Those incharge have become more preoccupied with political witch- hunt than keeping Nigerian Airways in the Sky.

State Governments copying and setting up airlines today lack understanding in this particular sense. They are building on highly shifting sandy political foundations. When the foundation is faulty, what can the righteous do? Nothing! These State sponsored Airlines are destined to die, and that is very unfortunate…and finally:

4. The Spirit of Discernment. King Solomon, the richest King ever recorded in the Bible asked specifically for This Spirit and God gave it to him in abundance. The result were good, fair and worthy judgements. Discernment comes with Love, Mercy, Compassion, and Peace for the Kingdom, including the village, Community, LGA, State ,Region and Nation. Security of lives and property of the subjects and citizens ought to be and remain the Kings Priority at all times. He knows his people and his people know him and follow him.

Kings without Discernment, exploit, intimidate and oppress the subjects,and other Kings within and around them. Envy, greed, Currroption blind them. In their sleep, they forment deception ,lies,and trouble for the innocent. They grind their teeth and aim their bows at the innocent. But God will not let them succeed in their wicked schemes, for the righteous and innocent dwells in the secret place of the Most High God and abides under the refuge of the Almighty Jehova, the Lord of Hosts. When the righteous falls, he shall not fall with his head first because the Lord God Almighty holds his two arms to keep his head up. The wicked falls into the pit he dug for the innocent and his bows are broken. He turns away and flees and the messenger of God pursues him along a dark sleepy ground. The little the righteous has is better than the wealth of many wicked persons.

5. Many States Governments have for lack of wisdom, knowledge, understanding and Discernment gone into establishing Airlines. Today we have Enugu Airlines, Ibom Airlines, Delta Airlines, and you name it. When they leave office, the successor- in – Office may or may not sustain the costs and may make a wiser decision to save costs. May I ask: * How may jobs do these Airlines provide? *Are they a better choice to Manufacturing, farming and Tech- Industry? *What are Infrastructural facilities in these States? *How many thousand kilometers of roads are they committed to tarring within one year? *Are these roads maintained? * How many Communities are being washed away by humongous Gully Erosion? As I write the case of Uhualla Obibi Guly has become and Obibi Ochasi as a whole in Ochasi Ator Area of Orlu LGA is on another scale and level. Last week four persons died, swept away by Gully Erosion. I pray for strength for Our Governor who in every material fact has shown Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding and Discernment.

Repeating the same process and expecting a different result has been described as a form of madness! Because Air Peace, owned by Allen Onyema and an Igbo Man, all you Governors of the South want to jump into the fray! The more you fight and create wasteful competition the more you crash.
