Reverse Migration, Black Americans relocating to Africa Home Land….

Spread the love

A growing number of Black Americans are choosing to relocate to Africa, seeking a sense of belonging, heritage, and a break from racial tensions in the United States. This “reverse migration” trend is fueled by various factors, including a desire to reconnect with their ancestral roots and find communities where their African heritage is celebrated. Several countries, particularly in East and West Africa, are experiencing this influx, with Ghana and Kenya being popular destinations. This video shows Black Americans talking about their experiences relocating to Africa:

For how long will this continue in America ? How many girls and boys will have to.become fighters? If parents can afford it shouldn’t they relocate to where they will live with dignity, honor and celebrate their blackness and heritage? Should America not fund those who want to relocate or facilitate it one way or the other? Questions Galore!

Some motivation for the relocation gale includes:

1.Cultural Connection:

Many Black Americans highly feel a strong pull to reconnect with their African heritage and ancestry, seeking a genuine sense of belonging and identity that may be lacking in the US. Increasingly, opportunities are dissappearing for them in the US.

2.Escape from Racism:

Many individuals are actively seeking to escape the racial tensions, discrimination, and perceived lack of safety they experience in the United States. Use of guns is rascally deployed very often against blacks. Till date law enforcement officers profile blacks for no other reasons than the color of their skin.

Quality of Life : Believe it or not life in America can be stressful, unpredictable and rough, especially for the middle to low income citizens. Some relocate with the hope of finding a more affordable cost of living, lower stress levels, and a more peaceful environment. In some locations in almost every city in America, there are some who consider the presence of a black person a security risk. That is almost absolutely absent in Africa. It should be noted however that some African Nations treat others shabilly for strange reasons like loosing a football game to another African Nation. Moroccans do that a whole lot.

Good Business Opportunities:

Africa is an untapped continent with many and diverse opportunities for decent income from businesses. Almost all sectors of the economy in most African Countries present opportunities for businesses. Some are drawn to the continent for business ventures, with programs and initiatives aimed at attracting investment from the diaspora. Popular Destinations:

Kenya is projected to continue its population growth, potentially reaching 83.6 million by 2050. However, it’s worth noting that data quality concerning Kenya’s population has received a Grade D rating from World Economics. Challenges and Considerations:

Culture Shock:

Newcomers may face cultural differences, language barriers, and adjustments to different social norms.
Many if not all African nations have deep spiritual, and traditional roots that will have to be adjusted to by home coming Americans.

Economic Considerations:

While some areas offer a lower cost of living, others can be expensive, and finding suitable employment or business opportunities can be a challenge. However, those with clear set business ideas will find Africa highly encouraging . In many locations you will have to provide your own electric power, and water. In such places you dont have any security challenges, with little or not Government over regulations like in the US.

Infrastructure and Development:

Some areas may have limited infrastructure or access to resources compared to what residents are accustomed to in the United States. Anti-LGBTQ+ Policies:It’s important to note that some African countries have restrictive LGBTQ+ policies, which can be a concern for some individuals.
