@Igbo TV. Dr. Catch Ononuju gives a reason why Ikweres need not talk of Igbos have come to overtake them. Who overtakes himself?

As a child I lived with my Uncle who was Native Authority teacher in Primary Schools in Eastern Region way before Gowon and his divisive genocidal war against Igbos. An avoidable criminal war! Native Authority teachers like my uncle were very itenerant, transfered and moved to wherever they were needed. So I lived with him in Umumasi, Umuokoro, Umukurushi, Isiokpo, and Orevo, before we came to Owerre Nkwoji from where I passed the common entrance exams into Bishop Shanahan College in Orlu, just before Gowon’s War started. This means that all the “Rumu” this and that, you hear today were changes introduced by Ikwerre people to allign with Nigeria, to be qualified for political benefits. The Minister of FCT is Nyesome Nwaike, which they changed to Nyesome Wike. As a matter of fact of history, the Amanyanagbo of Opobo, King Jaja of Opobo is from Amigbo in present day Imo State. Bonny people and some Nembes are from Igbo land.

It should not be lost on any one to know that the two major tribes of Southern Nigeria, the Igbos and the Yorubas came from the Middle East Region. While Yorubas came down from Egypt, Igbos were descendants of Gad, the seventh son of Jacob, that revolted during the sinful rule of Jeroboam, who taught Israel to Sin against God with state idolatry! Igbos ruled Yoruba Land for over 400 years. These are documented historical facts.

Because of the betrayal of Queen Moremi of Ile Ife, the wife of Oduduwa. ( Odudunwa) the King, Igbos left Ile Ife and moved South Wards. They got to Idduu, Edo Kingdom, but the Oba of Benin pledged allegiance to Ile Ife and Igbos moved East wards and settled on the riverine area of Ogbawu, today’s Ogbaru in Anambra State. They excelled in trade from the Rivers covering many regions and areas around them up to Opobo, Ndoni Bonny in today’s Rivers State.

This very short snippet of history explains why the Great Britain having bought Nigeria as an investment, The Royal Niger Company, teamed with weak and more docile Northern Nigeria and gave them power. The north found accomplices with the Western region and mismanaged the nation to the benefit of British Master, till the military struck in January 15, 1966.

The rest is what we live in today. Igbos are the Jews of West Africa, and whomever curses Igbos get cursed by God, and those who bless Igbos get blessed by God, and its scriptural. Look around and see.
